BIOGRAPHY:
This band came together in early 2006. It took it's time to find their feet and own sound, at a time, when all members were about 16-19 years old. The band takes influences from a wide variety or artists, ranging from the melodic sensibilities of bands such as Misery Signals, to the technicality of bands such as Through The Eyes Of The Dead or Whitechapel.
After the band's first CD release in 2007 and a 2-track demo in 2008, the band played two club tours through whole Germany and today, a lot more is in the making. Not to forget about several support shows for well-known acts like Neaera or War From A Harlots Mouth. Visit our blog to see, where we already played.
While being on the road and playing the stages of the country, the guys succeeded in making their name known. Not too easy a job, at a time, where masses of new bands flood the country. It is their dedication and love for what they do, that made this band rise up. Hailing from a region, where nothing like a 'scene' existed. What the guys reached for now is all based on their own hard work.
Above Our Distance will hit the streets again in 2009, packed with a new full length CD putting all the powerful, melodic and heavy sounds together, that you will love listening to.
In 2009, the beast gets unleashed.
